Happy Holidays and Best wishes for 2025

Our many thanks go to Jane Margaret and John Sadler for hosting a very successful Christmas party at their home, a lovely Arts and Crafts house from the 1920s. Sixty people attended and had a delicious afternoon tea and a tour of the house and garden.

Our first event for 2025 was to be a heritage tour of St Cuthbert’s College with archivist Sarah Padey. However, this has had to be postponed until building maintenance work has been finished. It will be on a weekend which means parking will be available.

Our first event for 2025, therefore, is a visit to the Museum of Transport and Technology (MOTAT) to explore the Tram Barn to see the Remuera Tram 44. There is no set date yet, so watch this space. But read the amazing story about Tram 44 which Remuera Heritage has adopted.
