Geography Project

Hilary Monteith was a pupil at Epsom Girls Grammar in 1956 when she completed a geography project on Remuera.

The project covered a relief map, drainage, vegetation, communications, residential, commercial and industrial use, and a proposed Hobson Bay scheme to reclaim the land and locate a new university campus. The project included many unique photos of Remuera. Copyright of the photographs is with Hilary Monteith.

Remuera Heritage arranged for the project book to be professionally conserved and digitised.
