Walking back to happiness – book available and how to write your own memoir
Jeanette De Heer gave a fascinating and engaging talk on her “overseas experience/working holiday” in the early 1960s, which involved hitch-hiking in the UK, flatting in Earl’s Court, and travelling around Europe with friends in a small car.
Jeanette’s book Walking Back to Happiness (2024) complete with excellent photos from her time overseas in the 60s can be purchased from jdeheer@xtra.co.nz or from The Little Book Shop in Remuera.
