Remuera Primary School
Brian and Sue Cooper visited Steve King, Principal of Remuera Primary School, to return the 1923 Campaign document which had been conserved and framed by Remuera Heritage. The document dated 23 April 1923 was to raise funds to acquire the two and a half acres next to the school for a children’s park with equipment and the improvement of the school grounds. The land was going to be sold as sections. Today Platina Reserve is council owned. The framed document will hang in a new building being constructed as a resource centre at the school.
