RHXmas Party Sue Cooper and John Banks 2017

RHXmas Party

Fifty people, including Paul Goldsmith, Opposition spokesperson for Arts, Culture & Heritage, had Christmas cheer and refreshments on Sunday 10th December at the new premises of Megan Jaffe Real Estate at 411 Remuera Road.

The property used to be Browns (2006 – 2016), Remuera Antiques (1975 – 2006) and Mrs Russell’s Drapery (1939 – 1975). The site was originally the Remuera Library from 1915 before it was built further down the road in 1926. John Banks was our host and spoke about Edwin Mitchelson, former Member of Parliament, Mayor of Auckland, Chair of the Remuera Road Board and resident of 237 Victoria Avenue (now at Baradene College).

Remuera Heritage thanks Megan Jaffe, Lesley McLellan & Di Fraser, Arthur and Rosie, for their generosity and help on the day in making the party such a success.
