Painter of Paradise

Over 50 people attended our event where Martin talked about his career in architectural design and building, with a passion for restoration and painting of heritage villas and buildings in their landscape.

His installation on view in the Remuera Library was constructed on kauri scrim board from a Devonport villa refurbishment. The view is a full-circle view around Maungauika Head and Devonport which includes the land and sea back to Auckland.

Martin is also doing a studio exhibition for the Auckland Heritage Festival- Architecture of Recreation on the 20th- 21st September at his studio at 28 Prospect Terrace in Mt Eden.
