Onsite visit to the refurbished Remuera Railway Station

A site visit has been organised for Wednesday, 3^rd June 2026 at 1.15 pm. Both the Orakei and Albert-Eden Local Boards have been invited. All members and interested parties are welcome.

The site visit will showcase the recently completed project – both external and internal repairs and improvements to the Heritage Station and Signal Box on Market Road. These have been completed with full Council Heritage support and guided by Phillip Hartley of Salmond Reed Architects. Auckland Transport has led the project, Aspec Construction were the contractors, and Keene Consulting the Project Managers.

The exterior can be viewed any time, given it’s a public station; however, the interior has also been refurbished and will be open for viewing during this visit.
